Aren't they cute?

Hope you like him! : )

Lunar ring (well, sort of..)

Just a little experiment. I almost never create jewelry, so it is no surprise that the final result is a little bit bumpy.   : )

"Which kind of dog is it?" "ahem.. it's a.. a diving terrier!"

“The otter emerges tempestuously from the sea or river or bath, as the case may be, carrying about half a gallon of water in its fur, and sets about drying you with a positively terrifying zeal and enthusiasm.  Every inch of you, in the eyes of a conscientious otter, requires careful attention.  The otter uses its back as the principle towel, and lies upon it while executing a series of vigorous, eel-like wriggles.  In a surprisingly short space of time the otter is quite dry except for the last four inches of its tail, and the human being is soaking wet except for nothing.  It is no use going to change one’s clothes; in a few minutes the otter will come rampaging out of the water again intent upon its mission of drying people.”

I love otters, and I've always been in love with the wonderful, touching "Ring of bright water" by Gavin Maxwell. I don't even know how many times I read it, but it is really the kind of book you never get tired of. It is funny, moving and deep.
And here is my tiny critter, which measures more or less half an inch, not including his tail. I also created a little pond and a micro fish for him. Enjoy! : )

I just wanted to share with you a few pics from the place where I live, which is stunning beautiful during this time of year.
All of the pics have been taken from my window or in the garden.

Printemps: un titre très original, n'est-pas? ; )

Let me introduce you Arianne, one of my first jointed dollies ever.
She measures a tiny 4.5 cm (less than 2 inches!) while standing, and I made her a tiny dress + bonnet. She's far from perfect, I know, but I still like her so much! :)

Petite broche

Here is a small polyclay brooch I created a few time ago as a little gift for my boyfriend's sister. The text is a quote from the original french version of "The Little Prince".

"Adieu, dit le renard. Voici mon secret.

"Goodbye, said the fox. And now here is my secret, a very simple secret:
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;
what is essential is invisible to the eye."
