Just doodlin'

Imagine to be stuck in your department for la long, hot August day, with nothing to spend the time with, except for a black pen and a pink marker (and your class notes, of course..)
As I often do, I started doodling, but I ended up adding more and more details to my sketches, and so here is the result, three cute girl figures with different outfits.
Hope you like them! : )

From tiny to tinier

Do you remember my tiny gnome? When I sculpted him, I really thought he was as small as possible (just 4 mm not including his hat!). But then the lovely customer who adopted him asked me to create a whole new family for him, including his wife holding a baby in her hands. At first I thought it was beyond my possibilities, but I gave it a try anyway.. and here is the result! Once again, the peculiar desire of someone else gave me the great chance to try something new and exciting.. thank you so much Noëmi! : )

PS: sorry for being a bit late with posts and answers, it's a very very busy period.. but I promise I'll show you many new things in a few days.
Thank you so much for all your support, and welcome to the new followers! : )

Various stuff

Hi everyone!
We are suffering from a terrible heatwave here, so it's nearly impossible to sculpt anything new (I suppose polyclay would just melt down in my hands). I took the chance to create a few little boxes and other tiny things.. hope you enjoy!

a tiny satchel for one of my dolls

two tiny croissants (which reminds me of rich winter it's way too hot for this kind of food!)

My little Julia is wondering how could she get into one of these boxes.. :D

Wish you all a nice day!

Micro fox

Seems like I just can't stop creating creatures that measure less than a quarter of an inch (this one in particular is only 5 mm high).
Hope you enjoy!  : )

Laguna Opera Bag

I'm not so much into fashion nor purses, but the first time I saw the luscious Laguna Opera Bag by MyWalit in a little shop in Tuscany, I decided it was the perfect  night bag for a colour lover like me.
And why not to recreate a similar one for tiny dolls? : )
So, here is my  miniature Opera Bag, which has the same bright shades of red, violet, blue and green of the original one, and a similar texture obtained by adding several layers of paint.
The bag has been carefully handsculpted without molds, and handpainted twice with acrylic paints, to give it the most bright and vibrant colors. A layer of gloss varnish protects the surface, and and a tiny felt strap has been stitched to the metal rings of the purse.
Hope you like it!  : )

PS: today I had some fun by creating a few outfits inspired by this bag.. which is your favourite one?

Now ON SALE on my Etsy Shop!

Bozen is not only a beautiful city surrounded by the stunning scenario of Tyrolean Alps, but also a little collectors' paradise. The traditional love for miniatures and tiny details makes it possible to find the cutest tiny treasures, and also a lot of useful supplies.
In the meantime, a visitor can enjoy the beautiful streets of old town center, drink a glass of excellent wine and choose a nice place to eat a fresh bruschetta with cheese and olives.
And now it's time to show you some of my little purchases   : )

A cute porcelain vase

A tiny hand carved wooden bunny - so cute! : )

Could I miss a tiny carrot to feed the bunny? : P

A few miniature dice (plus a lot of beads, boxes, tiny pottery etc..)

Thank you for stopping by! : )

I'm back!

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing holyday, and we ended up rafting through wild rapids, swimming in a mountain torrent and horse riding in the woods.
Such an exciting experience!    : )
