The strangest commission ever

When I was asked to create a tiny anteater, I thought it was the most unexpexted request ever. I really had no idea of how it should look, except for the very long muzzle.. well, with a lot of patience (and with a little help from Google Images : P ) I managed to sculpt the tiny guy you see in these pictures. And in the end it was very funny too! : )

Thank you again Lazzi for giving me the opportunity to try such an unusual thing! :D

Le petit renard

My first tiny fox has already found a new home (thank you Lazzi! ), so it's time to show you the second one..
a teeny tiny micro fox, smart and alert, but still so cute with his fluffy tail curled around him! : )
He measures less than half an inch, so I added a comparison pic of him next to a grain of rice.. so very small!

A tiny gift

Sorry for not posting so frequently, it's a very busy period! : )
Here is a little gift I made a few time ago for a friend of mine, a couple of tiny guinea pigs with a micro carrot to feed them! : D

Back from the woods

I'm back from the most relaxing weekend in the hills. : )
I spent an awesome couple of  days enjoying fresh air, natural food and the gorgeous colours and scents of the woods. Well, I actually had to bring my books&notes with me, but still it was some kind of brief, restoring    break before the last part of my exam session. A wonderful weekend, after all. And how was yours?

Drawings

Hi everyone!
Sorry for not having posted recently, I'm in the middle of my exam session and a little exhausted at the moment (and I'm far from having finished, sadly). Still, I want to thank all of you for all the visits, the nice comments and the support I receive every day.
By the way, I thought it was nice to show here a few pics from my other blog, which is mijbil.blogspot.com.
You can find there some of my drawings and illustrations, and I have to admit that I do not update it so frequently. The style is quite different from this page, but  I do hope you will enjoy it anyway!  : )

Sheep!

Here we go with my little sheep! : )
These cuties measure more or less half an inch, and no two of them look exactly the same.
I used an original technique to create them, adding a mix of polyclay and Fimo Liquid all over a pre-baked structure, in order to reproduce the fluffy look of a true lamb. They have been carefully handpainted after baking, and I also glazed their tiny eyes to add a little sparkle and protect the colors.
And they are so sweet!  ^_^

I'm going to create three different listing for them on my Etsy shop, so that
you can choose your favorite one! : )

Here is the first tiny lamb:

Here is the second one:

Anf finally the last one!

Which one do you like most?  : )

A little preview

Right after a bad cold, I just went running under the rain, and now I feel tired, wet to the bone and so happy! :D
Back to study now (again and again..), but I took the time to give you a preview of tomorrow post (sheep, sheep, sheep!)

Oh, I also created a cute bear-themed treasury, would you have a look? : )

Micro Lego figure

Who didn't spend days and days playng with Lego bricks in his childhood? : )
Here is my micro-tiny-version of a Lego character. I used a mold to make it, but I don't know if I'm going to create any others (it's quite long and a bit tricky), so at the moment he's OOAK.
Hope you like him!
