Strange things can happen in our life. Just a few weeks after moving to Sweden, one of my Swedish neighbors lent me a French version of the gorgeous book Faeries by Alan Lee and Brian Froud, which I used to read again and again (in Italian) when I was a child.
Not only it was a huge surprise to find it here, but it also gave me some inspiration for a new watercolour, maybe a bit more complex than my usual ones.
Useful tip: take a few minutes to sketch a quick colour scheme, in order to try a few options before moving to the real drawing (I had to learn this the hard way in the past) : )
Tryin' to stay close to the project.. ; )
And here's the final result. Hope you will like it! : )

Ti ringrazio in anticipo. alex
