A welcome gift

Back in Sweden after two weeks in Italy! : )

Although it was nice to be back in Venice (and on the mountains too) for a while, I'm glad to be in the North again - I missed it a lot. We arrived at home at 1 a.m. last night, after rather long trip, and I found a beautiful surprise waiting for me. I won a giveaway for the first time in my life, and the lovely Lucy from Needlework in Miniature sent me a huge lot of mini yarn balls, in a delightful range of colours. They are a true pleasure for the eyes! : )

In particular, Elliot the tiny elephant was super excited about the yarn, since he found a couple balls that perfectly match his collar. And now he wants me to knit something for him! : )

Well, the prize came under the condition of using it to create a miniature piece of clothing, so I guess it's fair that Elliot gets a little treat. I can not compete with the amazing talent of Lucy for teeny tiny knitting, so mine will have to be a rather simple project! But I suggest you check out her work, because it is truly amazing. : )

Thank you once again Lucy for this wonderful gift that brightened up my comeback!
