Mushrooms and fairies

My latest obsession is that of fitting more than one tiny figurine into the smallest glass bottles.. my terrariums are growing more complicated every day!  : )

ACEO!

I first discovered the ACEOs a couple months ago, and I found them so cute!

 ACEO stays for art cards editions and originals. They're small art cards - 2.5 x 3.5 inches - which can be both prints or original artworks, and can be realized in any way, from oil painting to collage... no limits at all! : )

These two of mine - the Cat Lady and the Geisha - are the result of a mix of different materials and techniques - pencil, watercolours, acrylics, ink. The decoration was done using a shiny antique gold varnish, which adds to each illustration a preciuos reflection under the light.

This time I'd like to introduce the talented Jamie and her adorable tiny creations. Her lovely shop, Magicbeanbuyer, is a long time favourite of mine, and probably one of the factors that let me finally decide to open my own shop.

The fox and the bunny

These lovely fox and bunny only measure a quarter on an inch!

They're extremely cute and lovely, but unfortunately foxes have a quite bad habit toward bunnies, so I thought it was safer too keep them in two separate bottles. : )

They make an original, unique pair of miniature earrings - each tiny bottle measures 18 x 10 mm, which is approx 3/8 of an inch in diameter, even less than the bottles I normally use to make my pendants!

The gnome invasion

They're tiny, they're cute and they're magic!  : )

Can you imagine any cuter earrings than these miniature terrariums? 

A micro gnome - just a quarter of an inch in height - stands in each bottle, on a layer of soft green moss.

The bottles are extremely tiny - 18 x 10 mm, even tinier than the ones I normally use (approx 3/8 of an inch in diameter) making these unique earrings very light and not "too much". As most of my creatures, they look so much bigger in pics than they actually are!

And I created a matching pendant too!
