Farewell

A deep breath and.. time to go!

When this post appears I will be flying north. 

I am moving to Sweden with my boyfriend, and I'm going to stay there for a couple years. This is my very first experience living abroad, and I'm currently halfway between excitement and panic. : )

The good thing is that I already went to Sweden twice, and both times I was deeply fashinated by local lifestyle and mood. It's been a long time dream for me to move to Northern Europe, and now the time has come!

So, these are the pics from my last (for now) visit to Venice. We spent a lovely day with friends, took a ferry, reached the Lido (a long sandbar that separates the lagoon from the open sea) and biked to the farthest beach of the island. Can you imagine a better way to say goodbye? : )

The ferry passed through the Giudecca channel, and next to San Marco..

We had lunch with some "cicchetti", namely a mix of different finger foods.. yum! : )

Then reached the beach..

..had a bath in the sea..

..took some silly pics..

..saw a beautiful heron..

..and enjoyed a glorious sunset on our way back.

Goodbye Venice!

All is white

A completely handmade outfit for my little Pukifee Flora. : )

It took me quite a lot of time and effort, since I am not an expert tailor at all! :D

Statement

This is the result of an experiment, my very first statement necklace. I used many different materials to create it - from micro beads to golden leaf to acrylic paint - but every single piece has been handsculpted and assembled after baking. 

The final result is possibly a bit kitsch, but as I said this was just a first attempt! : )

I am going to keep this one for myself, but I am also willing to try some more in the future.. would you ever wear such a loud necklace? :D
