Welcome on board(s) #2 - the elephant, the bunny and the fox

I was extremely pleased by your reactions to the first post about my Pinterest boards. : )
Not only I got many lovely comments, but I was also able to find many of you on Pinterest as well, and to start following many inspiring new boards. Thank you so much!

Now, for a more playful selection of boards, three of my new ones, each dedicated to a different animal - and to the many talented designers who got inspired by each creature.

A grey trunk, a tiny tail, 100% ellie cuteness! : )

Monsieur Lapin

Ok, I have to admit that I am really into this trend of placing cute animal prints on fashion items - silly as it gets, I still find lovely! And what's cuter than a bunch of fluffy rabbits?

Self portrait in Copenhagen

Such a pompous title for a little sketch that I drew on the train.  : )
My mother came to visit me this week, and I took the chance to go to Copenhagen with her. It's been a few years since the last time I visited the Danish capital, and we were lucky enough to enjoy a lovely, sunny October day.

The Opera House

The colorful houses along the Nyhavn canal

Il sont les gardiens des pruniers épineux

Strange things can happen in our life. Just a few weeks after moving to Sweden, one of my Swedish neighbors lent me a French version of the gorgeous book Faeries by Alan Lee and Brian Froud, which I used to read again and again (in Italian) when I was a child.
Not only it was a huge surprise to find it here, but it also gave me some inspiration for a new watercolour, maybe a bit more complex than my usual ones.

Useful tip: take a few minutes to sketch a quick colour scheme, in order to try a few options before moving to the real drawing (I had to learn this the hard way in the past)  : )

Tryin' to stay close to the project.. ; )

And here's the final result. Hope you will like it! : )
