The Owl Mountain

Just some pics of our skiing holiday in Italy, a few weeks ago.

We actually spent a good part of the week skiing in the middle of a terrible snowstorm, while most of the valleys around were in a situation of emergency due to the massive amount of snow (about 5 meters!).
These pics were taken when the storm finally passed, leaving the montains covered in an unprecedented, stunning layer of thick, fresh snow. Beautiful, but dangerous as well, and definitely problematic for the people from the mountains, who have to work in such difficult conditions.

  1. WOW! Gorgeous pictures! I am glad you are safe! Avalanches have been trouble in the USA this year! That is a lot of snow!
